Carp Cyprinus carpius

Carp is without a doubt the most popular course fish of all, they grow larger than any other coarse fish in Britain, excluding the rare catfish. They'll eat virtually anything if they are hungry.

The Tench is a sturdily built fish with small scales embedded in it's olive green body. A feeding tench will often release a stream of tiny bubble which can be seen on the surface
